John Abraham and Amyra Dastur grace beauty pageant for the visually impaired
While the world celebrates International Women’s Day, hunky Bollywood actor John Abraham chose to show his support towards women in the most charitable, giving way. The No Smoking actor graced an event as the chief guest that was a beauty contest for visually impaired women.
John arrived at the event looking hansome in a black and white slogan shirt, paired with black pants. He was also joined by other starlets from the industry including Bhagyashree, Amyra Dastur and producer and director, Subhash Ghai. He even obliged the contestants and the audience at large, by walking the ramp, as he did back in the day, along with the visually impaired participants. And he didn’t forget to give a touching speech to everyone present as well. Actress Amyra Dastur looked splendid in a black maxi dress, while Bhagyashree looked pretty in a skirt and a lacy top.
John was joined by his close friend and fellow Bandra resident, the extremely talented and outspoken celebrity hairstylist, Sapna Bhavnani. She is a well-known face who had participated in one of the earliest seasons of Bigg Boss. She is a great advocate for social issues and a feminist, and sat by the actor’s side, applauding each contestant that came along.
On the work front, John Abraham was last seen in the movie Force 2 and is currently filming for the upcoming movie, Mumbai Saga. John made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Jism alongside his then-girlfriend, Bipasha Basu. The controversy of the film shot them both to instant superstardom. He later went on to appear in many movies including Paap, Dhoom, Garam Masala, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Kabul Express and more.
