Channel Star Plus has launched a new series ‘Tamanna’ at an event in Mumbai on January 21, 2016. Actor Anuja Sathe will be seen playing the lead character of ‘Dharaa Solanki’ an aspiring woman cricketer, who travels through different phases of life to achieve her goals.
The motive of the show is to change the mentality of people who think that a woman’s dreams comes with an expiry date. Ajinkya Deo, the producer of the show said, “I don’t know why cricket is seen as a male dominated game. There is no expiry date to a woman’s dreams – that’s what the aim of this show is”.
The show is all set to premiere on February 1, 2016.
